Many people believe that being stressed is something they need to learn to live with, but while this is partially true, the way you handle stress can impact your health. If you’re a person who has a lot of things to handle in their life, but you get upset and frazzled every day, this isn’t good for your body. However, you can become a person who can manage their stress before it gets out of control – even before you can feel the stress rising up in your body. Stress begins long before you feel it take over your mind. Here are some signs your stress may need to be controlled better.
Relieve Stress When Your Emotions are Out of Control
People who are stressed tend to have two different emotional states – really happy and really upset. While this sounds like a generalization, think about the last time you had something stressful happen to you. Though you may have felt like it was a normal occurrence, how did you treat others? How were you around your family? When something went wrong, did you get angry or did you laugh it off? For many people with high levels of stress, their emotions become difficult, if not impossible to control. If this happens, those around them can become tense, which only adds to the stress levels in the room. If you’re a person whose begun to see that you can’t control the way you interact with others or you’re suddenly crying for no reason, it may be time to find ways to get stress relief.
Too Much Stress When Your Sleeping or Eating Patterns Have Changed
For those people with a lot on their calendars, it can seem like sleeping less is the answer to getting that To Do list crossed off. In the short term, this can be a way to succeed, but if you find that you have troubles getting to sleep or you’re suddenly sleeping too much, this is a sign your body is under too much stress. You need to find a way to relieve that stress or else you may find yourself too run down to accomplish anything. Others cope with stress by changing the way they eat. Stress eaters will tend to eat more in order to make themselves feel better, but this can lead to weight gain, which can cause more stress. Others find they can’t eat when they’re stressed and this is hard on the body as well. They might take in so few calories that they can not maintain their energy during the day, which is not helpful to their health.
Feeling Stressful When You Aren’t Happy with Your Life
If you wake up each day simply unhappy about your life and where it’s heading, it might be time to look at your stress levels. Chances are good that you can not control your stress in a meaningful and consistent way, which is making everything seem more terrible than it actually is. Instead of simply giving up or assuming that life is simply supposed to be this way, you will want to look into techniques for stress relief. In finding ways to deal with your stress, you can begin to see the bright side of your life again. Your health can suffer when you’re not happy, leading you to isolate yourself from your friends and family, which can only increase your levels of stress and anxiety. It’s a vicious cycle you need to stop before it becomes a way of life.
With the Stress Monitor program, the Stress Monitor program will help you regain control of your health and your life. You will get an instant assessment of your stress level so you can make the changes you need to make right when you need to make them.

Effective anti stress techniques
By: Jack Morgan
Photo: betterover50.info
We live in the finest of times; we live in the sorriest of times. We live at a place and age where full-on is how a lot of people like their work to be. We put so great deal premium on doing matters fast, first, and furiously we frequently enclose every day up feeling incredibly beat. The thing about exhaustion is that it inevitably heads to a wicked trap - depression. The more tired we are, the sadder we feel. The sadder we feel, the more incapable we become of playing at optimal levels. Clearly, we all need to anti stress. Here are a couple of suggestions for anti stress techniques you are able to do now.
Set aside a time for play every week.
Busy executives like you who work long, tedious hours frequently neglect caring for your self because there never appears to be sufficiency time to do so. You hammer away at a project all the time every time until this project gets done. The trouble with repetition is that it burns you out quick. Avoid this by tossing in a fun activity or two into your workweek. You can do yoga, go fishing, or see a film. There's no pattern for what you can do. Just do it.
Stop being too tough on yourself.
These are among the finest of anti stress techniques you are able to do for yourself. You're an overachiever. Of course, you want to do matters more beneficial than anybody else. If Bob traded 17 automobiles, then you do your finest to sell 20. If Cindy put in 25 hours of overtime this week, you try to break her record by pulling a 70-hour workweek next. Stop that childish behavior at once! Being too competitive can be destructive. There is nothing to gain by outdoing everyone you know. Why? For one, you will never find satisfaction in the goals you achieve because these goals are set with others measures in mind. When you find no joy in your achievement, no lasting satisfaction over a job well done, there is no point in working so hard, is there? For another, you push yourself to achieve others' goals and beat them to it. How does this help you grow? You meet others goals, not yours.
The later you are allured to work yourself to the bone, remember that stress kills. Stress kills enthusiasm, relationships, brain cells, and ultimately, the person who's had more stress than humanly manageable. Get the better of your stressful life before it gets the better of you. You will be able to brush up on the techniques that let you do this with the help of resources such as ''Turn Stress into Energy and Enthusiasm''. Use these techniques as your secret weapon against stress. Actions follow the course we set for them so if we say no to straining out today, we are more probable to come up with habits that help us avoid stress.

Eliminate Fear to Achieve Great Success
By: Tj Philpott
Photo: change-mgmt.com
Achieving great success in your life is a relative accomplishment since everybody has different values, goals and priorities. This is not by any means to de-value certain accomplishments since reaching for any goal is admirable. However it is important to recognize people do have different ways of measuring success and in all cases it only comes by achieving goals. In order to become successful no matter what the goal there are always obstacles we must first triumph over that are the most noteworthy part of the entire journey. In fact more times than not the most common obstacle we encounter is our own fear. These fears are often concerning our own self doubt due to a lack of confidence, experience or even skills.
Here are 5 suggestions you can use to overcome many of the fears you may face so that you are better able to achieve your goals.
Focus on the Goal
By allowing fear to take hold your thinking is cautious and more defensive. You are not playing to win at this point but playing to minimize the damage. Fear paralyzes you and your ability to think creatively. It smothers your potential and makes every effort much harder and less effective. Focus on what it is you are trying to achieve and by doing so you will block out the fear and make your efforts more effective as well.
Remain Positive
There is a saying that goes 'if you think you can, you can, and if you think you can not, you're right!' This is in reference to 'believing' in your abilities and knowing you can and will succeed. If you do not have this feeling you are setting yourself for disappointment and failure.
Expand Your Comfort Zone
One of the biggest and most common barriers for any of us when attempting anything new is leaving our current comfort zone. You know the one, where all is familiar and we are not 'challenged' by the prospect of exerting effort and facing change. The only way to enrich your life is by adding new experiences which will require you to make and accept changes. Do this willingly and embrace the prospects of any 'positive' change you can introduce into your life!
Stop Procrastinating
Fear of the unknown sets off a common reaction inside almost everybody and that is hesitancy. If something is unfamiliar to us it is only natural we may be a bit uncomfortable with it therefore we tend to put it off. In most cases nobody likes to be 'tested' which is exactly what unfamiliar situations tend to do to us. Learn to embrace the unknown especially if you have taken measures to prepare for it.
Competition is Good
Do not fear competition but instead welcome it since it will only serve to make you better! A competitive atmosphere is a learning atmosphere and we can not improve ourselves unless we increase our own knowledge base.
Achieving great success in life is relative thing due to the varying priorities and goals of different individuals. But despite the fact that most people have their own unique ways of measuring success in their lives achieving goals is always an admirable accomplishment! Recognition must be given to the effort involved in the process without holding the achievement in 'judgment' due to its significance or degree of difficulty! In order to become successful no matter what the goal however there is a common need for most to first face and conquer certain fears. These fears are often in regards to self doubt due to lack of confidence, experience or even skills. The 5 suggestions offered above will better enable you to overcome these common fears that can inhibit your progress so that you may achieve your goals. In the end the triumph comes not so much from reaching the goal but more from the successful manner in which we manage the journey itself!

By: Gary Mcgeown
Photo: vanhoozer.blogs.com
How many times have you ventured into projects that ended up as a failure? Have you ever tried baking a cake that turned out into cookies? Have you ever tried joining a new sport that only brought you to the hospital? If you have already failed a number of times you must be feeling discouraged right now. That is understandable. But really, there is no reason for you to forever feel that way. There is no reason for you to give up because there are tings that you can do to succeed. Here are some tips on how to achieve success that will truly help you.
1. Set a specific goal. Determine what you really want. It is important for you to know exactly your objective because it will be your guide. It is like the light at the end of the tunnel or the lighthouse in the far end of the ocean.
2. Consult experts on what you can do to achieve your goal. You can also get a good book about it.
3. Read success stories of people who have also ventured into the same territory you are now in so that if you ever encounter problems, you will not be discouraged.
4. Build your confidence along the way by recognizing the little successes that you will achieve. These little successes are your answers to obstacles that you might meet.
5. If you experience failures as you try to reach your goal, do not always think that it is time for you to stop or take a detour. Study first if there are other ways for you to get over those failures. It is only time to change plans when you have exhausted all means and still fail to find the right solution.
Let not past failures hinder you from setting new goals. Take them as learning points to help you succeed in the future.

How to Detect the Warning Signs of Stress Early
by JacobGan@gmail.com
Photo: mstrust.org.uk
Stress is the bodily response to demands made upon it. It must be emphasized that stress is caused by our bodily reaction to the external events or environment, and not the external events or environment themselves. The similar external event, for example when asked to make a speech, can have very different responses from different people. Some people may view that as an opportunity to
show off his skills or to express their view or even to improve their public speaking skills. On the other hand, some people may fear their speech will display their ignorance or incapability.
While stress that is short and ends quickly may be good for the body, stress that goes on for a longer time without sufficient relief can cause much damage to not only our bodies but many other aspects of our lives, such as damage to our relationships or personalities.
It is therefore vital that we are able to detect when that stress period and level exceeds the healthy limit. Fortunately, it is not too difficult to detect the warning signs of stress, although to detect the signs during the early stage of stress is not so straight forward.
We shall discuss the warning signs and symptoms of stress under the following three categories:
1. Physical Signs of Stress
In the presence of a stressor, the body responds by the release of adrenaline to enable it to take explosive actions for survival or high performance. If the stress is relieved, the body goes back to normal conditions. On the other hand, after prolong period of stressful conditions many other physical conditions begin to exhibit themselves. The apparent signs include
· Heart beats faster and stronger
· Perspiration increases resulting in sweaty hands/ palms and even sweats may appear all over the body (even during sleep)
· Headaches and chronic pains in various parts of the body
· Pain or tightness of the chest, neck, jaw and back muscles. The jaw may clench, the teeth may grit resulting in stuttering and other speech difficulties, and the muscles may tremble and twitch
· Restlessness and nervous ticks
· Skin crawls and pales.
· Nausea and vomiting because the body tries to repulse foreign particles in the stomach. May also experience 'Butterflies in stomach'
· Diarrhea because the colon work faster and repel the waste before it has absorbed the water (and other materials).
The not so apparent physical signs of stress include
· Blood pressure may rise significantly which is bad for the arteries and heart in the long run and in the short term the pressure may rise above what the body can cope for one who already has high blood pressure
· Increased sugar and insulin levels in the bloodstream
· Increased cholesterol in the bloodstream
· Addition of coagulates to blood
· Indigestion and constipation
· Urinary hesitancy or increase frequency
· Increased cortisone from adrenal glands
· Increased thyroid hormone in bloodstream
· Increased endorphins from hypothalamus
· Decrease in sex hormones in the bloodstream
· Premenstrual tension.
· Fall sick more easily because of weaken immune system
· Excessive fatigue
2. Emotional Signs of Stress
Stress affects the emotional life too. It often causes emotional upsets in people such as
· Aggression, hostility and jealousy.
· Impatience, anger and anxiety.
· Stammering and other speech difficulties
· Loss of sexual desire and even infertility
· Withdrawal from social life because of difficulty in coping with group situations.
· Loss of peace of mind and become restless, anxious and feeling of insecurity
· Nightmares as a natural attempt to solve problem during dreams
· Emotional upsets
· Loss of positive spirit and become critical
· Impulsive behavior, irritable and moody
· Irregular, over or under eating
· Crying for no apparent reasons
3. Cognitive and Perceptive Signs of Stress
Stress often leads to a significant decline in the cognitive faculties in human beings. People lose the capacity to think rationally such as
· Forgetfulness and memory loss and people fail to remember even small things.
· Carelessness and irresponsible acts
· Lack of attention to detail and fail to think from a broader perspective
· Compulsive behavior and loss of clear thinking ability
· Reduced capacity to think creatively
· Disorganization of thought and productivity falls.
· Use of intoxicating substances such as cigarette, alcohol or drugs
Some of these signs and symptoms, such as heart beat rate, blood pressure and blood sugar, can be measured objectively. For the rest, we have to rely on our own awareness and the alertness of other people around us to the signs and symptoms that we may exhibit. It is therefore vital that we observe and notice our own as well as others’ signs and symptoms of excessive stress so that corrective actions can be taken before stress take a better hold on us.
We shall discuss the actions we can take to manage our stress and the stress of others around us in a separate article.

Having a poor self-image is a leading cause of stress and anxiety
by alex_ellorde
Photo:
There was this movie shown way back in 1992 called “Single White Female.” The main characters are played by two famous actresses named Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The character “Allie” is a successful software designer in the “Big Apple” who always found her climb up the career ladder and her personal life as both less than ideal. After asking her boyfriend to move out of the apartment, Allie opened up some space for a possible roommate. After a succession of possible roommates whom she found to be “weirdos”, she was able to settle on having shy lady named “Hedy” as a companion, albeit a paying companion in the apartment.
Hedy turned out to be another weirdo. Hedy became so obsessed with Allie that she even copied her looks, way of dressing, and literally assumed Allie's identity. Somehow, Hedy found security in assuming the relatively happier life of Allie.
The character of Hedy actually demonstrates the loneliness and perils of a person suffering from inferiority complex. This inferiority complex is nothing new or rare. In fact, many women especially young girls are experiencing this form of low self-esteem. An inferiority complex is a nagging feeling of never being able to be “good enough.” It is being so “uncomfortable” with how one looks, speaks, or moves. It is a total lack of appreciation for one's self. Inferiority complex is an extreme lack of self-esteem, self-confidence, and having a constant feeling of inadequacy.
For some people their concept of self-worth is based on the affirmation of other people. Affirmation, or confirmation, in the form of a friendly smile, a handshake or simple “hello” decides whether a person with an inferiority complex would feel good about himself or herself. The need for social approval is one underlying needs of persons with low self-esteem. When a person lacks social skills, he or she develops a self-pity mode which may eventually lead to stress and anxiety. According to Alfred Adler, a well known Austrian psychologist, “the inferiority complex” is derived from physical disability or from faulty relationships. This complex is a “need” to validate one's self.
Some of the causes of inferiority complex include:
l Socio-Economic Causes - This is a common cause and mostly felt by people from a lower socio-economic class or people who worked for wealthy families. Seeing other people living in higher standards makes the person from the lower class blame himself for not being successful or for not being able to provide a better life for his family.
l Physical Causes - This results from a physical defect or lack of appreciation for one's physical appearance. Some people feel inferior for being overweight, being too skinny, or being too short. Because of their physical conditions, these people think of themselves as less important than others.
To defeat the ill-effects of low self-esteem, here are some tips to feel better about yourself:
1. Never compare yourself to others
2. Work along with others, be a team player
3. Participate in worthwhile activities
4. Don't neglect yourself-you can improve yourself through going to school, attending workshops, seminars
5. Focus on the positive side of your life- be thankful for what you have
6. Read famous people who had overcome their failures and adversities especially people who becomes rich by sheer hard work and determination
If these tips don't help, your last resort may probably be to get proper counseling or in extreme cases get the advice and services of a psychiatrist.

Geopathic Stress

Perhaps one for the biggest hidden dangers today is Geopathic Stress. You can't see it, taste it, smell it, feel it or hear it; yet it surrounds us all. Geopathic stress itself comes in two primary types, natural and unnatural. It is basically the energetic fields that are emanated from various sources.
Natural forms of EMF include lay lines, underwater sources, energy vortex's and negative Feng Shui lines. These have always been around us and recognized by many cultures, in particular the chinese and the celts. Dowsing has been the most common way to identify these energy fields and has been used around the world in various forms for many centuries.
There have been many studies carried out linking these natural geopathic stress fields to illness, and in particular cancer. People who developed cancer had their home checked and it was discovered that dowsers could pick up negative energy fields in areas they spent large amounts of time, often through the bed. Research was then conducted on who had previously lived there and it was found that there was a very high incidence of previous occupants dying from cancer.
It's not just cancer but a whole range of illnesses and problems that have been linked to geopathic stress. These include ME, depression, insomnia, headaches, back pain, and stress. However the past hundred years we have seen a rise in the geopathic stress due to the large amounts of electrical equipment now used.
It is estimated that the ambient EMF pollution has increased over 200 million times in the past century. This level increases to over 1 billion times in city centre's. An experiment with bumble bees showed them going crazy and attacking each other when exposed to high EMF fields, a rather scary similarity to our own culture in many ways.
I ask men 'would they put their testicles in a microwave?', and the answer is of course no. I then ask if they carry a cell phone in their trouser pocket, to which the answer is usually yes. What is the difference? Well essentially the time it takes them to cook. This is a little too close to the truth for comfort.
Cell phones emit frequencies in the micro wave range, so do microwaves, hence their name. Now agreed a microwave has a lot higher radiation level but thermal image scans on the brain have showed that it too heats up when using a mobile phone. In fact 2 minutes needs one hour for the effects to fully reduce. Think about that. It means that many people are literally 'hot headed' the whole day!
Now I know cell phones get a lot of bad press, and perhaps a little unfairly when you consider how bad cordless phones are, and worse still hairdryers. The fact of the matter is every electrical device gives off something. So take an average office worker.
First they make their toast, in a toaster. Not too bad if they are not standing too close. Then they drive to work, in a car. Cars generate huge levels of EMF's due to the metals in the tyres, moving engine parts, air conditioning, radios etc. This is the all contained in a metal cage insulated from the ground allowing it to build up. It's no wonder so many people become stressed and fatigued driving. Then they arrive at work, sit in front of a computer, emitting radiation, under fluorescent lights, emitting radiation, take a cell phone call, emitting radiation and on and on. They finally drive home, in their car, and then sit in front of their TV, emitting radiation, eating their radiated food from their microwave. And that's only a brief look.
You can use EFT and other Energy Psychology methods to clear some of the disruptions to your system caused by EMFs. Headaches from fluorescent lighting is a great example. This though, in my opinion, needs to be done on a frequent basis as your system keeps becoming re-disrupted. It is also impossible to be aware of everything affecting you all the time. We need a more practical, long term solution.
I don't want to paint a picture of doom and gloom and get you even more depressed, however a little awareness could go a long way. It is obviously impractical to give up this way of life for most people, so what to do?
Protection is the key. Minimize exposure where possible, i.e. use a normal wired in phone when possible, walk don't drive when possible etc. For the rest of life I cannot recommend BioPro highly enough. There are now many EMF neutralizers out there but none as well tested as BioPro. Mobile phone shields do not work, they cannot work or neither would the phone. However the fields can be harmonized so they no longer affect the body. On their website BioPro have thermal scan evidence of mobile phone heating the brain, then not heating the brain with the use of a BioPro harmonizing chip. There is plenty of more evidence and research on the site too for a range of products. Don't delay, act today. EMF's are not going to fix themselves.
I usually hate multilevel marketing because you feel the person selling to you has such a vested interest. However I hope as you will appreciate from my site my main focus is to educate people about what they can do for themselves. These products last for life and so may well be the best investment for yourself and loved ones in the modern age, allowing you and your family to enjoy modern technology without the dangers.
