Having An Awesome Desire For Your Business

by angerewi

Photo: getentrepreneurial.com

If you set out to do something you need to believe within yourself that you can achieve it and you need to do this with all of your heart. Life has challenges and always will, but if you want something really bad then you need to take a chance and do what you are made of.

Sometimes in life we get ourselves stuck in a rut and in our mind it seems so much easier just to leave things the way they are. Change is uncomfortable, however if you let your mind form a new habit of having cheerful, happy, conversations. Put a smile on your face and visualize happy pictures within your mind and see how easy it is to form a new habit. Things can change. Old habits die hard and they do die. That's the right spirit in life.

We have all heard the saying "step out of your comfort zone" well this is the time you need to take this saying seriously and do it with your own life. How much desire do you have inside yourself to achieve those goals? Now is the time you need to pull on that desire and push yourself.

It doesn't matter how much you feel this is farfetched the discomfort you feel will dissolve over time. It will soon be replaced with energy and enthusiasm.

Take a good look around your life what do you want to change and what are the reasons why you want to change it? How bad do you want to change it?

Somewhere inside you, you will have excuses for not changing and why you are unable to achieve these changes. Well now is the time to get the excuses out of the way and to overcome them. The worst thing you can do is start and then quit then start again only to give up altogether.

Make up your mind to change and stick to it. Have the desire to make a difference in your life. It is only when desire is strong that it is effective.
Limitations are the hardest thing to overcome especially if you have spent your whole life telling yourself them or if someone else has drummed them into you. Thoughts & beliefs come from your mind they are what your conscious and sub-conscious are thinking, believe in.

Self-limiting thoughts are negative thoughts which we have to learn to put out of our mind. The more you pay attention to them the more fuel you pour on the fire, which then in turns causes them to burn longer. So we need to eliminate them before they start.

Everything begins with a thought so start it with a happy one and begin a life of happiness. Sometimes it's a lifelong battle, but one that you can win each time and always remember one that's worth it.

Take the risk direct your focus and sustain your actions with your expectations. Have positive expectations and let them be the driving, directing force behind your actions. Expectations without actions amount to little more than empty wishes. Actions without specific positive expectations will fail to achieve the desired result.

So go out there and expect the best from yourself and have faith in your decisions and the decisions of others. You can do what it takes to succeed if you just do what it takes to actually achieve the best.

Be committed to yourself, your desire and your dreams.

7 Ways to Stimulate Creative Thinking

 by TJ Philpott

Photo: urbanfantasywriters.com

Whether you're an artist, a writer, an online business owner or somewhere in between your efforts likely require a healthy mix of creative thinking. In fact creativity and innovation are crucial for business success or to excel in most any other type vocation.

Realizing the important role creativity plays in your professional efforts it is vital to maintain a continual flow of fresh new creative ideas. Unfortunately we all experience times when this flow slows to a trickle and sometimes even stops. Coming up with even a single creative idea seems to be an insurmountable challenge. What do you do when this happens?

In order to 'recharge' your mind and get those innovative thoughts flowing again a change of venue is usually a good first step.

Let's have a look at 7 different ways to stimulate your thinking thus allowing your mind to develop more cutting edge ideas for use in business or everyday problem solving.

Reach out to Family and Friends

If you've got an online business discuss with family or friends what it is you do and how they think you can improve upon it. Perhaps they feel you're products are too expensive or maybe just don't solve the problems they want solved. Listen to their feedback and take notes.

What's in the News

Check out what's going on in the world. Generally the bad part about any news broadcast is that they're so negative. Well negativity implies there are problems so identify them and consider any solutions that may address these problems.

Review Your Past Mistakes

Review your own past and examine mistakes you've made. Were the mistakes you made common or could they have been avoided and if so, how? You're looking for ideas here so don't let this turn into a 'self flogging' session.

Brainstorm with Friends

This need not be a formal gathering nor does it need to be like work. Chill out, kick back and be casual. Have fun in this relaxed environment and treat this like a game such as word association or scrabble. Discussing something like 'what ticks you off most about…..' and then let the sparks fly. No doubt a creative idea or two will result from these exchanges.

Introduce New Solutions

Ignoring any current solutions and focus more on the problem these solutions were made for. Consider a different approach to solving the problem. Your solution may be more convenient, economical or possibly environmentally friendlier.

Peruse Forums

Online forums are a great source of information but they are also a great place to find out what is on the minds of others. What bothers them or what pressing and consistent need is out there that has gone unanswered?

Finding a Niche in the Existing Solution

Look at current or popular products that offer solutions to pre-existing problems. Have they fully addressed the problem or is something left unsolved?

Approach this 'sliver of opportunity' by considering a solution for just this one area. Focus on the smaller problem areas the existing solutions didn't solve and consider a solution for just it.

Creative thinking is a resource upon which many rely in order to achieve any type of success. The ability to introduce creativity and innovation into your efforts is what keeps you on the cutting edge and a step ahead of the competition. Whether it's for business success, personal achievement or simply problem solving there'll always be the need for fresh new creative ideas. Losing, even temporarily, the ability to think creatively can severely hinder your efforts or business growth. The 7 techniques we discussed above are great ways to stimulate creative thoughts that will keep you or your business continually moving forward.

Teen Depression on the Rise & Its Devastating Symptoms

 by Tess Thompson

Photo: irritatethestate.net

Perhaps the most devastating blow on human health has been caused by modern lifestyles. What is more alarming is that changes in society and attitudes towards issues like success have had a greatly negative impact on our children. There are now more instances of teen depression than ever before.

Besides primary needs of food, clothing and shelter, humans have emotional needs that must also be met. In traditional communities, these basic needs were met naturally. Many traditional societies had a perfect system in place for providing community support to children, when parents were too busy or out to work for survival. With less community and familial support, combined with the mad rush to succeed in material terms at all costs, the emotional needs of children are often neglected. Child depression is a natural fall out from such indifference, and ignorance of the issue has now become a reality that modern society has to grapple with.

Sometimes, behavioral changes in a teenager are ignored, as parents feel that a problem child is acting out with a purpose of gaining attention or making a statement. Such instances can often be misunderstood, and the fact that a child is suffering from teen depression can be missed. Teen depression is a legitimate concern and a condition that is as important as any other physical ailment. It has serious consequences and is prone to recur and continue into adult life. If you suspect your child is depressed, it is important seek out safe treatment options for teen depression. Some of the immediate behavioral changes that you may see in your child if he/she is prone to depression are:

* Recreational Drugs - Where parental support is not forthcoming, teens normally tend to look for relief from prolonged sadness and anxiety from inappropriate sources. Substance abuse like drugs and alcohol are common among depressed teens.
* Lack of Confidence - Lack of self esteem is a prominent sign of depression. It can lead to an increase in negative feelings and self-criticism.
* Eating Disorders - Depression can lead to binge eating, obsessive dieting, anorexia (prolonged eating disorder due to loss of appetite) or bulimia (guilt and self condemnation after binge eating).
* Low Academic Performance - Low grades in school are not only a sign of depression but also a result of teen depression.
* Behavioral Changes - Depression often leads teenagers to indulge in risky activities that cause injury or death. Teenagers tend to come to terms with depression by self-inflicted. Cutting, burning and banging the head against walls are common examples.
* Decisions - It becomes increasingly difficult for depressed teenagers to handle everyday decisions and pressures.
* Suicide - Suicide is the ultimate effect of a prolonged feeling of despondency. By the time depression leads to a suicidal tendency, the child has probably woven a web of hopelessness that refuses to go away. Unable to get out of it, the only solution that comes to mind is that of ending life. The first indication that suicide is being contemplated comes from talks of death. Immediate teen depression help should be sought even at the slightest hint.

Modern society has evolved in a way that individualism has gained precedence over everything else. It has become literally impossible for people to understand the importance of the wider community. It is important to evaluate our personal situations, and be sure to provide necessary emotional support for our children.

Don't let hypertension ruin your life

 by fullarticales

Photo: getahead.rediff.com

With the price of prescription drugs in America having gone sky high, falling ill can be enough to bust anyone's budget. Not just that, while some diseases can be treated quickly, there are others that can more than turn your life into a nightmare. This is especially true with high blood pressure, or its chronic cousin, hypertension. It is a leading cause of cardiac problems, strokes and kidney failure, with more than 40 million Americans suffering from high blood pressure. However, the most insidious things about hypertension is that it is a silent killer - it can strike you just about any time, without giving you any warning, leaving you crippled by a heart attack or stroke. In fact, a stroke, heart attack or kidney problem may often be the first time you know that you have high blood pressure!

What exactly is blood pressure? And, why is high blood pressure so dangerous? Blood pressure is a measurement of the pressure your blood puts on your circulatory system as it pumps through your arteries and veins. It is expressed as a combination of two numbers. The top (or systolic) number represents your blood pressure when your heart beats, while the bottom (or diastolic) number represents your blood pressure when your heart is resting between beats. The first is always higher than the second, since your beating  heart sends blood forcefully coursing through your body. For a normal person, a blood pressure of 120/ 80 is considered healthy. Any blood pressure that is over 140/90 is dangerously high, but anything in between is not good news, either; it indicates that you are prehypertensive, and have an increased risk of progressing to hypertension.  While high blood pressure can be temporary, like if you have been under emotional stress or have exerted yourself physically. However, it can also be a sign that cholesterol induced plaque is clogging up your arteries.  This, in turn, puts a strain on your heart, as it has to work harder to maintain circulation in your system. About as dangerous cases, high blood pressure could be caused by a hardening of the arteries, which makes it difficult for your blood vessels to dilate. In either case, unless your blood pressure comes down, it could lead to an important blood vessel malfunctioning. A heart attack, kidney failure or stroke is the result.

Is there now way therefore, other than constantly monitoring your blood pressure to see if it is normal, of making sure that you are not suffering from blood pressure? Thankfully for you, there is! It is a totally natural product called Levodyn, which is helping millions of people around the world proactively reduce their blood pressure and lead happy, disease free lives. Depression and Treatment

 by LargerVision

Photo: vision.org

Many people who suffer from depression wonder, "Why am I depressed?" and "What is wrong with me?" With the increase of psychotropic drugs, many people wonder if their problem is biologically based or whether it is the result of the events of their lives. Even when asking professionals about the origin of their depression, people are likely to get many conflicting responses. Some professionals will claim that it is strictly biological and should be treated with medication. While other professionals say that medication is a last resort and may cover up or distort the origin of the problem.

The fact of the matter is, that we are still learning, both about the human body and the human psyche and collectively we only have guesses - some more accurate than others—as to the nature of depression.

However, there are some things that are important to know…

1. There is a biological component to depression.

2. Medication is helpful in treating this biological component but essential only in severe cases.

3. Medication is not a complete solution. It has been proven that a medication works best in conjunction with therapy.

4. Therapeutic approaches are varied and all of them will have some effect on the depression.

5. The best therapist is one with which the client feels comfortable working. (See picking a therapist)

6. The best therapeutic modality is one that is aligned with the client's world view and value system. (See picking a therapeutic modality)

In the end, the treatment needs to be something that those suffering from depression can live with. It might not be possible to figure this out right at the beginning. It may take time and working with different treatment options before a solution is found. It is most important for a person with depression to know that he or she does not need to suffer from depression for the rest of his or her life. A situational depression will subside in time. Other forms of depression can be effectively treated and managed. There is hope and the possibility of living a depression free life.

What It Takes To Be Successful

 by lavena

Photo: armandocruz.com

Do you know of anyone who does not wish to be successful? I do not. In fact, we “wish” to succeed in everything we do: we wish to do well in our academic, we wish to land in our dream job, we wish to earn a million dollars, and we also wish to find a perfect life partner.

Did your wish come true?

Does wishing land you with anything? Or perhaps, you are hoping that a miracle would happen. What would it be like if you woke up one morning and your life had become exactly what you wanted it to be?

Whatever you strongly want to achieve, you need more than a wish or miracle: it is your burning desire. You need to have, first of all, a dominant desire to be successful. Be it to earn your first million or a job promotion, your desire to achieve that goal must be resolute and persistent. Re-establish your desire everyday with a written plan and read it twice daily. Allow this regular habit to permeate your mind, both consciously and subconsciously, and allow you to feel your goal at your grip.

Thomas Edison did not give up his utmost desire to create a lamp operated by electricity, even after he has failed more than 10,000 times. At the beginning of any task, more than anything else, your attitude will affect its successful outcome. Positive attitude is the foundation for everything and Edison has it.

It is actually your thoughts behind the words you speak that create your attitude. Positive attitude has nothing to do with what happens to you: It is the way you respond to the situation, not the situation itself. Edison is a winner—with positive attitude—who never quits; likewise a quitter will never win.

You are full of positive thoughts at the world’s final game of tennis and you have a burning desire to win the world’s number one player whom you are playing against.

You lost.

With all the preparations and positive outlook of winning from the coach, you still lose. Deep down somewhere in your heart and mind, you are aware that you are facing the world champion: You have no faith in winning.

Lack of faith is a negative emotion that is capable of conquering your subconscious mind. Though your conscious mind demands to win, the subconscious mind is wavering with lack of faith. With a perplex mind, how do you think you will fare?

Faith is the strongest and most productive of the emotions. Develop faith by convincing your subconscious mind that you are fully capable and confident of achieving whatever your mind believes in. Tell yourself that your world is what and how you make it out to be; educate your mind to develop faith and believe you can achieve that goal you always wanted.

Remember: Whatever the mind of a man can conceive and believe, it can achieve. The one who wins is the one who thinks he can.

Is Perseverance innate or learned?

 by RoseannaLeaton

Photo: fuelyourphotography.com

What makes some people keep going when most others have become dejected, exhausted and disillusioned about their chances of ultimate success? What is going on in the inner workings of one's mind which makes them know that they should keep going when the far easier and the apparently more sensible option is to step back and retire gracefully with a crooked smile pasted upon your face?

Some would say you learn to be tough and dogged about things through example and experience; others believe that perseverance is a characteristic which we are all born with, although negative experience has the ability to beat it out of us. Looking at both of these views from the perspective of having a glass that is half full, as opposed to half empty, one can surmise that either way, perseverance CAN be learned; Because, even if an innate perseverance has been depleted for whatever reason, it is still somewhere deep inside, hidden and yet awaiting it's recovery and glorious re-emergence.

What makes a child keep on trying to stand up and walk? After all, each and every one of us must have fallen on to our bottoms a thousand times during this learning curve! Doesn't this tell us that we do have a natural talent to persevere? And what makes a child learn a language which has so many complexities and keep going until they have it mastered? You and I did have the grit to persevere when we were 1 and 2 and 3 years of age...it was there, be it innate or learned...and so we all have the potential to persevere at any age, throughout any circumstances, and achieve the success which we so desire.

And desire goes hand in hand with perseverance. As Abraham Lincoln said "Always bear in mind that your own resolution to succeed is more important than any other one thing". Your own desire or willingness to pursue your goal is a key factor here. A burning desire charges you with enthusiasm, and enables you to see opportunities which others may miss; it turns you into an optimist as opposed to a pessimist.

There are many well known visionaries who have succeeded despite major disadvantages. Beethoven was deaf; Thomas Edison had a learning problem, as did Albert Einstein, whilst Vincent Van Gogh was mentally ill. These people had vision, they could see, hear, touch and feel the success they sought, before they found the right path. They could imagine the end result in which they were in pursuit, and this was the fuel which stoked the fire of their enthusiasm and desire, which in turn fed their perseverance.

When one is running out of steam, or feels low on juice, they have in fact simply lost their vision. The key to perseverance is in hanging on to your vision, thereby training your brain for success. Everyone can learn to do this, and hypnosis is an invaluable asset, because it allows access to the inner workings of your mind. Hypnosis is a vehicle which transports you back to that stage of life when it was easier to learn new things, when your subconscious mind is open to suggestion. You can regain that perseverance you had when you were learning to walk, and to talk. You can learn to turn your vision into reality with the help of hypnosis downloads.
