Discover How Hallucination Is A Powerful Method To Gain Control Over Your Stress In Under 5 Minutes

Possibly the most misunderstood part of stress management is your role in it.

Those who respond to life with negativity or anxiety as most likely to deal with the physical affects of anger, guilt, nervousness, frustration and fear.

These emotions can cause hypertension and high blood pressure, which can lead to heart attack or stroke. Other complications include ulcers, arthritis, asthma, high cholesterol and kidney disease.

People who tend to focus on themselves as the controller of their fate - in fact 'self-motivated' - are more likely to feel a sense of control when stressors affect them. Instead of blaming something or someone else they have the motivation to deal with a problem and look for a reasonable solution.

This may have to do with how you organize the images in your brain. Basically your brain records all your senses all the time. Since your vision is important imagery is a very important part of how your brain thinks.

So the brain thinks in images. Our memories are collections of images. The interesting thing is, we actually have the power to control or change those images. By changing our images we can change/control our states.

Think of a time when you felt some stress. Make this memory as vivid as you can. If you can imagine a time when you were stressed and feel those feelings now. You are hallucinating as that situation exists in the past, not now. You have to recreate or hallucinate the conditions to feel stressed.

Hallucination is normal. We do it all the time. When you think of that situation with an ex that happened 5 years ago and get angry or recall or memory that makes you all mushy. You are vividly recreating an event that has ceased to exist. In other words you are hallucinating in a controlled manner.

Ask yourself, How can I use this knowledge about hallucination for stress management?

Think of a time when you felt challenged but confident that you will succeed. Pick even a small event and hallucinate in vividly. Feel the feelings you felt then, now.

Heres the fun part. Go back to the time you felt stressed and notice what details your mind is focused on. Particularly what you saw, heard, felt etc. in detail. Do the same for the time you felt good and notice how these hallucinations are different from each other.

Maybe in the stress hallucination you feel pressure around you(with the world closing in) while when feeling confident you dont. Maybe you say negative thoughts to yourself while in stress and when not, you think of nice things.

Pay careful attention to these next words.

If you take the components of the stressful hallucination (size, feelings sounds etc.) and switch it with the more positive one you will feel better automatically.

This has to do with how your brain organizes your thoughts. Happy thoughts are kept in one area and sad thoughts in another. If you use the happy thoughts way of perceiving things, then thats how you will feel.

It can take you up to 5 minutes to get the feel for the process. Once you know how to change your stressful hallucinations to positive ones you can do it anytime anywhere.

The ability to choose our thoughts, to think what we want, is what gives us the power to determine our attitude and perspective when approaching a problem.

If we allow stress, anger and frustration to consume us, it can be like a runaway train gathering steam and threatening to derail. All you got to do is stop fueling the fire and the train will slow down.

Language Affects Dna

By: kishorehari

There is evidence to prove that DNA can be influenced and reprogrammed by words and frequencies.
While western researchers are interested in the 10% of DNA that is used for building proteins, the remaining 90%, considered as junk DNA is what interests Russian scientists. Having joined studies with linguists and geneticists, they are convinced that nature has definitely intended some use for that 90%, and their findings and conclusions have been revolutionary.
Their findings showed that our DNA is not just responsible for construction of our body, but also serves as data storage and communication. The Russian linguists found that the genetic code especially in the apparent "useless" 90% follows the same rules as all our human languages.
In this regard, they compared the rules of syntax (the way in which words are put together to form phrases and sentences), semantics (the study of meaning in language forms) and the basic rules of grammar, and found that the alkalines of our DNA follow a regular grammar and definitely have set rules just like our languages. Thus, it can be concluded that human languages did not appear coincidentally but are a reflection of our inherent DNA.
Pjotr Garjajev, the Russian Biophysicist, and his colleagues also explored the vibrational behavior of DNA, and managed to modulate certain frequency patterns or sounds, onto a laser-like ray which influenced DNA frequency, and hence the genetic material itself. And since the basic structure of DNA-alkaline pairs and that of language is same, no DNA decoding is necessary. As was experimentally proven, one can simply use words and sentences of the human language.
It has been found that living DNA will always react to language-modulated laser rays and even to radio waves, if the proper frequencies (sound) are being used. This finally and scientifically explains why affirmations, hypnosis and the like can have such strong effects on humans and their bodies. It is entirely normal and natural for our DNA to react to language.
Esoteric and spiritual teachers have known for ages that our body can be programmed by language, words and thought, and this has now been scientifically proven and explained; the correct frequency is the only factor that is necessary.
These studies prove the importance of our thoughts, words and language on our very being, since they have the inherent ability to ultimately shape us into the person we are. Do we not want to be influenced by positive thoughts and words then?
It is an effort in this direction, that I Want a Positive Headline wishes to create awareness among the masses about the critical necessity of positivity in our lives, and give the people a chance to bring about this positive revolution.
The choice lies with us; the chance to make things right also lies with us. All it needs is a single, simple step in the right direction, and an effort towards changing our reality, one thought at a time.

Create Confidence - The Physiology Of Success

By: Dee Brady

Want to transform how you feel? Want to fix it instantly? Try this - stand up and complete five star jumps, smile and shout "I feel terrific" five times. You might like to try this in the comfort of your own home sooner than in the middle of a hectic workplace. Okay you might feel a little daft but you will feel changed. You'll have smiled and moved, you've told your mind and your body "this is something else". Your mind and body are inextricably linked. If you adjust whatever you are doing with your body (your physiology) - how you breathe, how you stand, how you speak and hold yourself - it affects your mind and will transform how you feel.

Picture this person, they amble slowly, they have drooping shoulders, they look miserable, their eyes look down to the floor. What do you see? Somebody that is depressed. No one decides to be depressed but it's not merely a mental state, as we've seen it's also a particular body image (or a particular body physiology). By carrying on like this they are automatically continuing to reach the decision to be depressed.

So can we alter? You bet, you can transform your physiology and your state of mind in an moment. Put yourself in a place of ultimate self confidence. Imagine what a thoroughly self confident person would look like and emulate them. Stand up tall, shoulders back, looking out at one and all, making eye contact, smiling, breathing deeply. Walk like you imagine a self-confident person would, not sloping along but bounding along, head held up, shoulders back, on a mission you are headed somewhere not merely wasting time. Try it. You can't feel fed up or depressed with this posture. Your mind is linked to your body and it's getting the message that you are in a state of awareness and you mean business. You are instructing your body that you prefer to be self-confident and that you are self-confident. By transforming your body (your physiology) you are instructing your mind that you are self-confident and that you are in control of your feelings.

Make the space to invest in yourself not in monetary ways but invest in your feelings. Start feeling the way you would like to feel. Imagine you are about to grasp the job of your dreams, how would you feel, how would you hold yourself? Now "bottle" that feeling and your physiology. You can call on that anytime you like. You can transform to a place of ultimate self confidence by changing your physiology - open the "bottle" and recreate the physiology and the feelings Remember all human behaviour is end result of the state we are in so if we are feeling self-confident and strong we can attempt things we would have never have dreamt likely whilst we were feeling fed up and drained.

"Put your future in good hands - your own". Author Unknown.

Make feeling self-confident part of your every day routine. Whenever you think about it reach the decision to conduct yourself with confidence so it becomes a routine. Make certain you stand up tall, look others in the eyes, whilst they are speaking to you pay attention and look at them and whilst you are talking keep up good eye contact with them. Even if at the start you are still having to think about being self-confident, you will still communicate the correct signals to inspire people around you. That is the amazing phenomenon about self-confident body language. Change your body posture and your thinking and you can grow to be the self-confident person you aspire to be.

The Secret Of How To Stop Being Self Conscious

By: D Walker

For years, people have tried to figure out how to be less self conscious in all types of situations. To truly be less self conscious requires that an individual recognize that the entire world is not looking at them constantly. Ironically, everyone else is so busy looking at themselves that they probably dont have time to look at other people anyway.

Overcoming self consciousness starts by looking inwardly and identifying the strengths that you possess. Its a process that involves an awareness and recognition of the value that you bring to the world and those around you. You may say, I am self conscious about my body and I know others are looking at me. Maybe you are not the perfect weight or height. Maybe your skin is not the color you think it should be. Or perhaps you dont think your hair is becoming. Maybe you dont have perfect skin.

Does that mean you are any less valuable to society? No!

People who are overly self conscious about their bodies find it difficult to interact socially. They believe that they are inferior to others. But nothing is so drastically incorrect!

But its not just body image that makes people self conscious. Some people become nervous in groups of people because they believe everyone is staring at them. For some reason, they feel inadequate or inferior. They feel a flush of heat rising on their neck as their self consciousness rapidly escalates to anxiety and fear. They are no longer able to think or concentrate because they are so focused on themselves that they lose confidence in their ability to speak and interact. They lose control.

Self Consciousness and Self Confidence

Being overly self conscious can demean and lower self confidence. A loss of self confidence makes it even more difficult to deal with social situations and overcome self consciousness. The vicious cycle ensues when an individual allows self consciousness to overtake their mind.

Self conscious people demonstrate their lack of self confidence and poor self esteem through their body language. Being tense and anxious shows in your face and body movements. A person who is always tense and stressed finds it more difficult to exude self confidence and maintain control. Once you no longer have control over your mind, it is difficult to face challenges and situations. A lack of self confidence and low self esteem lead to even greater insecurities and increased self consciousness.
Ways to Overcome Self Consciousness

Some helpful ways to overcome self consciousness include:

Face your fears and acknowledge them. Recognize what makes you anxious and self conscious. This enables you to prepare for what is to come and be prepared to accept the challenges.

Center your mind and body. Learn to calm yourself in the face of anxiety by breathing deeply, focusing on an object, or using positive affirmations.

Anticipate potential situations and figure out how you would handle them in advance.

If you anticipate you will be asked questions that make you nervous, consider how you can respond to them without becoming overly anxious. Preparation in advance can help, but dont obsess over preparing for every scenario or your self consciousness will just become worse.

Stop being self conscious by becoming more self aware. Be less self conscious by facing your fears and anxieties head-on and learning new coping mechanisms such as meditation, positive affirmations, and examining your strengths and value to the world. Once you are able to stop being self conscious, you can start truly living and reaching your full potential.

Be less self conscious by becoming more self confident and boost self esteem. Then you will be prepared to live the life you were meant to live and you can go forward with living.

Don't Set Unrealistic Goals

By: Eric Dexter

Are you a single working woman? You dare to be different, dare to be independent and dare to be just yourself. You don't kowtow to societal pressures or family demands. You are single by choice (may be waiting for the right man or may be not). You are confident, happy and fiercely ambitious. But you are also under a lot of stress - the stress that comes from daring and from doing things differently. If you are one of these women then we have something for you that will help you combat the stress that may hinder your growth and development. All you have to do is make the following Dos and Don'ts a part and parcel of your life.

1. DO - Be an optimist
Do remind yourself again and again that the whole world is there; ahead of you waiting to be conquered. Your glass should always be half full and never half empty. People may find it difficult to accept a 'career-oriented single woman', at work as well at home. If you can't change their thinking, then there's no point in worrying about what others will think. So many times you worry not because there is an issue but because you have become a habitual worrier. Instead of thinking: 'Will I find a man who will be supportive of my career,' just go ahead and say yes to the man who will support your career wholeheartedly. You will soon realize that having a positive and optimistic attitude will reap positive results.

2. Don't - Create problems that are not there
Many times your worries are the fruits of your own wild imagination. Can you recall how many times you have thought: 'If only I had the figure of Cindy Crawford, if only I had the energy of a five-year-old, if only my boss wouldn't boss, if only the men didn't come too close ... '
The list of 'if only' seems endless. We have a special stress buster to rid you of all these imagined worries. Set an alarm for 15 minutes and think of all the possible worries that you can. As soon as the alarm goes off, rush to the bathroom and wash down all those thoughts down the washbasin.

3) Do - Be happy
Happiness is a perfect antidote for stress. Just be happy and watch all that stress vanish into thin air. The most important happiness is intrinsic - one should be happy with one's own self. In fact make it a point that at least once in a day you tell yourself, " I am happy, I am good and I love myself. " Chant this mantra and you will see that all those problems that you thought were big are actually trivial. You don't need a reason to be happy, but when you feel you do just write down five things that you think are great about yourself or your five greatest achievements. Do you still need a reason to be happy?

4) Don't - Set unrealistic goals
Remember as a kid you were always expected to do things that seemed beyond your capacity and capability like excelling in mathematics while you just hated it, learn swimming when all the time you were scared of water and go win some medals when all that really mattered was that Nancy Drew on the shelf. You could be doing the same thing to yourself like aiming to put a full stop to male female discrepancies in the office, or wanting a double promotion where none is due or waiting for six tall, dark handsome men to propose to you. Remember the story of the hare and the tortoise - slow and steady wins the race. You too can win the race if you aim for things that are within your reach. Setting realistic goals not only relives stress but also boosts your morale in such a way that you are able to achieve the unachievable.

5) Do - Pat yourself on the back
It would be great if someone told you that you are doing a great job. But if nobody seems to be doing that then why don't you go ahead and pat yourself. But take care that you don't overdo the praise. There is a critic and patron in each one of us. The trick lies in striking a good balance between the two. It'll do wonders for your ego if you tell yourself occasionally about a great job you have done or the pretty picture that you have painted. In these competitive times, when everybody seems to be outdoing the other to reach the top, stress can keep mounting. All you need to do is give yourself a pat on the back and see the difference.

6) Don't - Crib and sulk
Many times we get trapped in the vicious circle of cribbing and sulking that leads to stress and then more cribbing and more sulking and more stress and the circle goes on and on. If you are always cribbing about something or the other you will feel discontented and stressed out. There are always going to be various pressures on you like marriage, work exploitation, juggling between home and work or being the sole breadwinner. You need to accept the fact that your life has these problems and instead of cribbing you need to tackle them with calm and fortitude.

7. Do - Let go your Ego
Ego is that side of your personality that brags, criticizes, exaggerates, judges, is selfish and self centred. It is normal to have an ego but it should not become a super ego. Remember the time you passed a judgment on your colleague because you didn't like her way of dressing or you refused help from your male counterpart because of his gender. This is your super ego at work. The minute you let go of that ego you become a more pleasant, happy, generous and helpful person. People tend to then fall in love with you and you with them thus leaving little space for stress to creep in. You will then see yourself building stronger bonds and relationships that you will treasure.
