Stress can have negative impact on your professional and personal life. If you want to fight against it, you should participate in activities that will reduce the stress and make your daily life more enjoyable. Ive made a list of a few stress relieving activities that you can incorporate easily in your daily routine. Take a look.

Breathing technique

If you are feeling stressed and you don't have the time or a place to calm down, you can try the breathing technique. This technique is designed to put your breathing under control, so your body and mind can relax. While performing this technique, you'll refocus your attention from the negative emotions to the activity of breathing.

Ill give an example of a good breathing exercise that is simple and easy to do. Close your mouth and slowly inhale air through your nose for about 5-6 seconds. Hold your breath for 2-3 seconds and exhale the air slowly through your mouth. You must have a full concentration while doing this breathing exercise.

Try listening to music

Its a well-known fact that listening to music can calm down and clear the mind. Its because the music beat and the lyrics change your state of mind. When you listen to your favorite music, you tend to forget about your surroundings. Your mind is focused on the sound. Its like youve entered a totally different world.

So, try to incorporate the music into your daily routine as much as possible. When you are preparing for the beginning of the day, try to set a positive frame in your mind. Instead of watching the news which are full with negative stories, put on your favorite music. Sing out with the song, dance and let your energy flow. Also, before bed time, try to listen to some nature sounds such as water running or birds singing.

Play video games

When you are feeling frustrated and anxious, you sure want an escape from the real world. You want to get away from the worries and responsibilities for some period of time. Playing RPG games (role-playing games) gives you the escape that you need, according to the experts. These games offer you the possibility to be in the shoes of a solder, a sniper in a warzone or a special agent who is searching for the killers. The action of shooting zombies in their heads or blowing guys away gives you satisfaction and the feeling of excitement. This feeling of satisfaction is exactly what you need to chase away the stress of the fast-living life. So, what are you waiting for? Find some good role-playing game and chase the stress away.

Remember, you cannot escape from the stress in your everyday life. But you can fight against it by using some of the activities which I mentioned. Its up to you whether or not you are going to fight.
